Day 4 on Achieve Bootcamp @ Home

Catherine is blogging about her experience of following our Achieve Bootcamp @ Home Programme.

Well it’s been a funny old day today, I started with my stretches first thing today, followed by a nice mint tea and a banana, didn’t have a big breakfast today as I’m going to the dentist to have a filling, a broken tooth follow over indulging in Christmas toffees I feel, see toffee is bad for you in more ways than one. I’m not very good at the dentist we all have our thing and the dentist is mine. I survived and had to cope with numb lips for the next couple of hours.

I like Thursdays as it’s my day off I get to walk my son to nursery instead of having to take the car an extra chance to get out in the fresh air. I was fairly hungry at lunch time and as I now have all feeling back I enjoyed a nice bowl of celeriac soup. Time to do a few jobs around before the children come out of school but still not feeling 100% post filing, I know I’m a bit of a wimp.

Home time from school and I had already prepped tea, so home work down and now to cook a warm chicken salad.

I play darts on a Thursday night, I’m no good but a chance to get together with the girls and have a natter, well the black horse in Exhall doesn’t sell bottled water so it was off to the car to sneak my own bottled water in my bag, not much fun when you are out for the night. The worst was yet to come, we have food at the end of a game and as I was last to play I couldn’t escape the smell of chips. Time to focus on my goal and just walk past, I left early not to sit and watch people eat because when God was giving out will power I was in the queue at the chip shop. We are playing at home next week and it’s my turn to do the food, no chips next week I can assure you.

Well it’s Friday tomorrow and that’s always a good thing to look forward to.
