“As a vegetarian, you’d think I ate vegetables all of the time.  No, I ate anything and everything but vegetables.  My belief at the time was that vegetables were boring and taste bland.  I’ve since renewed my love for vegetables and now buy fresh fruit and veg on a regular basis.

The Real Food Plan, Achieve and the support of some friends have given me confidence to walk into a fruit and veg store without feeling out of my depth.  I now shop for new and interesting veg and think about how I am going to cook it or which curry could I make with that.  Vegetables are no longer boring and tasteless.

The difference to my health has been amazing; I used to suffer with a bout of severe asthma every other month, since following the real food plan my asthma is now under control.

“Having lost 3 stone as a teenager, I have never been happy with my body.  I felt I had ‘saggy bits’ and cellulite that I just couldn’t shift.  I thought that the less I ate the better my body would be … of course this wasn’t the case.

My diet consisted of lots of caffeine (for energy!) followed by bars of chocolate and cakes.  Most days I thought it would be acceptable to eat nothing but chocolate and cakes as I didn’t appreciate food enough to think it would help me shift my bottom.  After eating the crap, I would than work my ass off with up to 30miles running per week, bootcamp sessions and walking … yet no change.

Until 8 weeks ago when I started the real food plan with my sister (which meant cutting out caffeine, chocolate and reintroducing REAL food!).  My goal was to change the way I thought about food and to cut out alcohol.  I was however skeptical about gaining weight from eating foods such as veg, fruit and nuts.  As I had programmed to believe that nuts were fats – and the last thing I wanted to do was add fat my body.

I stuck to eating clean and from my pictures there is a change, I’ve lost my cellulite and my bottom shape has changed dramatically.  I didn’t pay into gimmicks of quick wraps, creams and lotions.  I’ve done it from the support of achieve, great mentors & eating veg!  I wouldn’t have been able to achieve such goals without the support of friends and family.  More importantly, the guidance and belief from the real food plan team.

Having seen the benefits of eating clean, I now incorporate it as a lifestyle.  I prefer Having healthy, glowy skin, I prefer the condition of my hair, but most importantly I LOVE the change of my bottom!! Which pushes my to my next goal … body transformation.”
